FITTING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Boil 4 cups or more of water in a saucepan.

2. Bring water to full boil.

3. Remove from heat and let sit and still for 30 seconds.

4. Attach tether to Ultra Braces mouthguard and

submerge in stilled hot boiled water.

5. Use tether to hold mouthguard under water for 20

seconds.

6. Remove from water. Shake o excess water. Cool for

2-3 seconds.

7. Place in mouth facing a mirror so mouthguard is centered.

8. Bite down softly along full arch of mouthguard all the

way to back molars making sure to push with ﬁngers the

inner brace channel of mouthguard over the top of brace

brackets on teeth. (Double Braces lower channels sits

naturally on top of lower brackets)

9. Keep biting ﬁrmly while sucking in air and remove

mouthguard after at least 20-25 seconds.

10. Drop into glass of cold water with ice cubes and let sit

for at least two minutes at least and remove and insert in

mouth to ensure mouthguard channel is aligned over the

brace brackets and ﬁt overall is snug.

FOR RE-FITTING IF FIRST ATTEMPT WAS NOT

SATISFACTORY.

-Follow Steps 1-4 from ﬁtting instructions.

-Step 5. Immerse in hot water for 15 seconds.

-Follow Steps 6-10 from ﬁtting instructions.

FOR RE-FITTING AFTER BRACE BRACKETS ARE

ADJUSTED BY ORTHODONTIST.

-Follow Steps 1-4 from ﬁtting instructions.

-Step 5. Immerse in hot water for 20 seconds.

-Follow Steps 6-10 from ﬁtting instructions.

NOTE: Mouthguards are best stored in mouthguard cases while not

in use. Clean your mouthguard regularly by washing under hot water.

If using soap, rinse the mouthguard thoroughly before wearing.

Pour qu’un protège-dents protège, convienne et dure, il doit être

porté correctement sur vos dents et vos gencives comme l'indique

les instructions d'ajustement. Si un protège-dents est mâché et n’est

pas porté convenablement, cela réduira grandement sa protection,

son ajustement et sa durabilité.

DO NOT CHEW YOUR MOUTHGUARD

In order for a mouthguard to protect, ﬁt, and last it

must be worn properly on your teeth and gums as

indicated in the ﬁtting instructions. If any mouthguard is

chewed or not worn properly, its protection, ﬁt and

durability will be greatly diminished.

TO FIT THIS MOUTHGUARD YOU WILL NEED:

> Ultra Braces/Double Braces Mouthguard

> Clock or watch with second hand

> Glass of cold water with ice

> Saucepan > Boiling water > Mirror

INSTRUCTIONS POUR L'AJUSTEMENT

1. Portez à ébullition 4 tasses ou plus d'eau dans une casserole.

2. L'eau doit bouillir à gros bouillons.

3. Retirez la casserole de l'élément chauant et laissez-la reposer

pendant 30 secondes.

4. Attachez la courroie de retenue au protège-dents Ultra Braces

et submergez-le dans l'eau préalablement bouillie après la

période de repos indiquée.

5. Utilisez la courroie pour tenir le protège-dents sous l'eau

pendant 20 secondes.

6. Retirez le protège-dents de l'eau. Secouez-le pour retirer

l'excédent d'eau. Laissez-le refroidir pendant 2 à 3 secondes.

7. Placez le protège-dents dans votre bouche à l'aide d'un miroir

aﬁn qu'il soit centré.

8. Mordez doucement sur toute la longueur de l'arche du

protège-dents jusqu'au fond au niveau des molaires en appuyant

avec vos doigts sur le canal interne pour appareil orthodontique

pour le positionner par-dessus la console des bagues dentaires.

(Les canaux inférieurs du protège-dents Double Braces se

positionnent naturellement par-dessus les consoles inférieures)

9. Continuez à mordre fermement tout en suçant l'air, puis

retirez le protège-dents après 20-25 secondes.

10. Plongez-le dans un verre d'eau froide avec des glaçons et

laissez-le reposer pendant au moins deux minutes, puis retirez-le

et insérez-le dans votre bouche pour vous assurer que le canal

du protège-dents est aligné sur les consoles des bagues et que

l'ajustement général est adéquat.

RÉAJUSTEMENT SI LA PREMIÈRE TENTATIVE D'AJUSTEMENT

N'ÉTAIT PAS SATISFAISANTE.

— Suivez les étapes1 à 4 des instructions pour l'ajustement.

— Étape5. Plongez le protège-dents dans l'eau chaude pendant

15 secondes.

— Suivez les étapes6 à 10 des instructions pour l'ajustement.

RÉAJUSTEMENT APRÈS L'AJUSTEMENT DES CONSOLES DES

BAGUES PAR UN ORTHODONTISTE.

— Suivez les étapes1 à 4 des instructions pour l'ajustement.

— Étape5. Plongez le protège-dents dans l'eau pendant 20

secondes.

— Suivez les étapes6 à 10 des instructions pour l'ajustement.

REMARQUE: Il est conseillé de conserver le protège-dents dans un étui pour

protège-dents lorsqu'il n'est pas utilisé. Nettoyez votre protège-dents

régulièrement en le lavant à l'eau chaude. Rincez le protège-dents à fond

avec de l'eau avant de le porter si vous avez utilisé du savon pour le nettoyer.
